ha. i never thought i'd be using that word in this context. anyways as you can surmise from the title, this blog will serve as a weight loss journal of sorts for myself. and no, that doesn't mean i'll come here to vent about how i feel about diet versus regular, no weepy outpouring of how bitter i am that i can't have that extra piece of [insert food here]. it's just a means of keeping a record so i can watch the progression of (hopefully) declining numbers. i figure if i make them public it'll somehow make me more likely to stick to the plan. i can't see why you would care but regardless, here we go.
let's start the countdown:
starting weight 220
current weight 217
target weight 120
desired weight loss 100lbs
goal date 5/18/09
the idea is to go slow and steady so that none of this comes back to haunt me once i've reached my goal weight.
let the games begin.
